Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Shupavu Tech collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it and the choices you have. We follow Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

• Details you give us in our forms: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, business name and website, and what you need.
• Your brief: the text you write and any links you share, such as a video link.
• Call bookings: the time you pick, your preferred call platform and the topic.
• Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp, by email or on a call.

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. To show your confirmation page, your browser briefly keeps a summary of your request in session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.

How we use it

• To reply to you, prepare a quote and arrange calls.
• To deliver and support the project if you become a client.
• To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as invoices.

We never sell your data or use it for anything unrelated to working with you.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run this website and talk to you:

• WhatsApp (Meta): when you continue to WhatsApp, your message is sent through WhatsApp and handled under its own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare: hosts this website and its database, which stores form submissions and call bookings. It may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Some of these providers store data outside Kenya. We only use reputable providers with strong security.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Client records are kept for as long as needed to support your project and meet legal and tax obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or object to how we use it. To do this, message us on WhatsApp. We’ll respond as soon as we can. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to theOffice of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Security

This site uses HTTPS. Data you submit is sent over encrypted connections, and access to it is limited to the people who need it to work with you.
